A Yellow Cosmos at the public park in Kadri
The botanical name of this lovely yellow flower is Cosmos sulphureus. They grow in large numbers in the post monsoon months of October, September, and November. Honey bees, birds, and butterflies just love these flowers and you need to be extra careful while going close to a Yellow Cosmos bed as you could get stung by a bee. From a distance, they are a sight to behold—a beautiful carpet of yellow, surrounded by colorful butterflies and tiny birds.
