Chicken and Human Behavior

The following words popped into my head one fine morning when I realized that there really isn’t much difference in the ways chickens and humans behave.

I have seen how chickens peck each other mercilessly. Sometimes, many of them pick on one hapless bird and peck her till she bleeds. They seem to derive sadistic pleasure out of it. There is nothing much you can do to stop them from pecking each other to death. “My vultures!” I call them as I try to stop them from killing each other.

Although the law and order system in human societies prevents humans from going too far, humans too peck each other as much as they can, fighting for resources and trying to establish their superiority over one another.

There is indeed a striking similarity!!
